For the second year in a row, Nissan has earned more awards than any other manufacturer in the Vincentric "Best Fleet Value in America" awards. Now in its 12 year, the award program identifies best-in-class lifecycle costs in order to help organizations select the best vehicles for their fleet needs. Vincentric performs the cost of ownership analysis on over 2,400 vehicle configurations based on typical fleet use, including factors such as depreciation, fuel, maintenance and repairs.

The all-new TITAN half-ton pickup was announced today as the "Best Pickup Truck" category winner of the MotorWeek 2017 Drivers' Choice Awards at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show. TITAN and the other Drivers' Choice winners will be featured in a special episode of MotorWeek, which will air on public television stations nationwide beginning February 11, 2017, and on Discovery's Velocity Network beginning February 21, 2017.

DETROIT – The Nissan Altima and the Nissan Rogue each earned top-honors from the National Association of Minority Automotive Dealers (NAMAD). The Altima is recognized as the top-selling vehicle among African American consumers in 2016. The Rogue earned distinction in two categories, Volume Growth Leader in both the African American and Hispanic/Latino segments. Nissan was recognized for these accomplishments during NAMAD's Diversity Volume Leadership Awards ceremony on Jan. 8 at Detroit's Cobo Center just prior to the kickoff of the North American International Auto Show.

The 2017 Nissan Altima, Maxima and Rogue each scored at least a "Good" rating in all five "Top Safety Pick" (TSP) test categories and earned "Top Safety Pick Plus" status with "Advanced" or "Superior" ratings for front crash prevention for models equipped with optional Forward Emergency Braking. Beginning this year a "Good" or "Acceptable" rating for headlight performance is also required to earn a TSP+ rating.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Kiplinger's Personal Finance has named the 2015 Nissan Murano the "Best New/Redesigned Midsize Crossover" in the publication's annual 2015 Best Value Awards - a comprehensive review that "reveals the best values on the newest models." The Murano, which hit dealerships in December, received the accolade yesterday afternoon at the 2015 Washington Auto Show.

The series is being officially kicked off by Fred Diaz, senior vice president, Nissan Sales & Marketing and Operations U.S., Nissan North America, Inc. The first episode features a stroll through Nissan's truck past hosted by Brent Hagan of Nissan product planning. The new TITAN, which was unveiled at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 12th, was designed in California, engineered in Michigan, tested in Arizona and will be assembled in Mississippi and powered by engines from Indiana and Tennessee.

"I didn't always like the Nissan Juke. When it launched in 2010, I just couldn't get over the way it looked - it came across as super weird, and kind of hideous at first blush. But I slowly warmed up to the funky little crossover/hatchback/thing, and after spending some time behind the wheel, I really learned to love Nissan's small wonder. It's a genuine hoot to drive, offering hot hatch-like thrills in a package that doesn't look like anything else on the road. The Nismo and RS models that followed only increased my ardor for the turbocharged Juke, and now, I find myself smiling whenever I see one of these little guys bombing down the road.

DETROIT - Nissan today debuted the all-new Nissan TITAN full-size pickup to a standing room-only crowd of international media at the 2015 North American International Auto Show. Presiding over the dramatic reveal was Nissan President and Chief Executive Officer Carlos Ghosn, who stated, "With the 2016 Nissan TITAN XD, we weren't just going for 'best-in-class.' Instead, we are offering the 'Best New Class.'"

When Nissan brought me its most affordable hatchback, the 2014 Versa Note, earlier this year I found myself impressed with its nimbleness, abundant interior space great features despite its bargain price. In general I recommended it as a great bargain runabout. For 2015, Nissan has the new sportier looking Versa Note SR, and the automaker sent it my way for a week of testing (read: flogging). The new car has revised visual cues inside and out, and the equipment list is a little different than my last Versa. Best yet, it's even a little cheaper than the last one I tested as well.
